SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is a nonprofit tribal health consortium headquartered in Juneau, Alaska, and one of the oldest and largest Native-run health organizations in the United States. Founded in 1975 under the provisions of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, SEARHC serves the health interests of the Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian, and other Alaska Native peoples, as well as all residents of Southeast Alaska. The organization operates across 27 communities throughout the region, including two Critical Access Hospitals in Sitka and Wrangell. SEARHC provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including primary, urgent, and specialty medical care, dental services, behavioral health support, optometry, wellness programs, and substance use treatment.
