(DBA: SEADRONE INC.) provides drone-based end-to-end ship hull inspection solutions that enable operators to go beyond diver operations and perform class certified underwater inspections in lieu of Dry Docking. SeaDrone's ship hull solution allows an operator to accurately inspect a vessel and create automatically generated certified... reports that can be quickly shared with classification societies. SeaDrone Inc. grew out of a team of Stanford University researchers. In 2014, aerial drone technology was progressing quickly. With prior experience developing ROVs, OROBOTIX's founders saw how some aerial drone technology could radically transform the subsea robotics space. SeaDrone continues to invest in developing user-friendly robotic vehicles by making them more autonomous and focusing on the entire user workflow, including post-processing data and working with regulatory agencies to certify data collection methods to meet the needs of the maritime, oil and gas, and defense sectors.
