Sea Partners

A group of Sudanese evangelical church leaders met in March of 2004 to formulate a plan to begin the process of restoring the lives of their people. After more than 2 decades of devastating war, these leaders believed that Christ and His Church held the only hope for a New Sudan. Later in that year, SEA Partners was formed to promote and implement... five initiatives: education, food security, clean water, community health and evangelism. As a US non-profit 501(c)3 corporation we began operating in South Sudan since 2005. Here is a brief summary of our history. January 2006: Faith Learning Center, a K-8 school was began teaching children in Upper Boma. January 2006: The church in Upper Boma was planted in 2006 and met in one small classroom. March 2011: A Demonstration Farm began training local farmers. January 2014: First four girls taken to Kitale Kenya to continue their education. February 2014: A solar-powered water well was built to provide clean water throughout the Upper Boma community. August 2015: The Governor of Boma State, David YauYau gave SEA Partners 1000 acres of land to increase farming in Boma and granted us the land for a new airstrip in Upper Boma. August 2016: Due to an increase in the tribal conflicts in Boma, ten more children were moved to Kitale to continue their education. Farming for Peace, an extension of the demonstration farm began in 2017 and is ongoing. August 2018: 13 students in Boma came to faith in Christ. February 2019: Five Tractors were taken to Boma for the first time. March 2019: 7 children accepted Christ and 12 students mentored in their faith in a program led by members of Harvest Community Church in Beaverton, Oregon. September 2019: Phase 1 of the airstrip completed and was dedicated by the Governor of Boma State, David YauYau. December 2019: SEA Partners began their support for the Wells of Joy project in the Lunga-Lunga slums of Nairobi, Kenya.Read More
