After a few tries with other real estate agents in the phoenix area I was fortunate to find Barry Cox. My list of wants and needs for a home was le ngthy as I care for my mother on a full time basis and her needs had to be met. The house needed to be four bedrooms, three baths, with one of the bathrooms specifically suited for my mother, also the house needed to be single story with a pool, high ceilings, landscape complete, space around the house, no street lights, schools or commercial buildings nearby and a view of something other than my neighbors garage or window. One of the many incredible aspects about Barry is that he is a very good listener with an excellent memory. So rare to find a person who actually listens to your needs, tries to find the gem and generally wants the client to be a happy homeowner. There were ever so many times I would have settled and or compromised my list of wants and during those times Barry could have made a quick sale and been done with me but that was not his goal. His goal was to achieve my objectives. His diligence during the review of each property involved the detailed analysis of the condition of the house, a review of the topography of the land and surrounding homes and he advised me of the options I would have for repairs and or concerns for the topography. This man was actually working for me and not after the quick sale. How could I have been so very blessed? Once we found the home then the negotiations started and again Barry represented me in a professional manner and did not back out of the negotiations just to make a sale. Every step of the process, he was quick to return phone calls, responded to all of my questions and stayed with me through the arduous loan process down to and including the day of closing. Now you might think that is the end but NO, Barrys list of helpful folks for repairs, fixes, painting and guidance through the now owner process was also ever so very helpful.
