At Scotgroom our lives revolve around dogs: their wellbeing; their training; their grooming; and their showing. Everything we do is geared towards achieving excellence in what we do. But we believe that true knowledge and experience is only of value when it can be passed on to others, and for many years now that's exactly what we've been doing. Scotgroom is situated in the town of Carluke, mid-way between Edinburgh and Glasgow, not far from the market town of Lanark. We are easily accessible from both major motorways in Scotland, the M74 and M8. We offer a wide range of services to our clients, some of whom travel long distances to have their dogs groomed to breed standard. A high percentage of our clients are regulars and have been with us for many years. The services we offer include: All our grooms include ear and nail services. We do not charge extra for these services, as we feel that they are essential to the dog's wellbeing and health. Our newly-built classroom provides a quiet learning environment for students wishing to write-up notes, or take part in our theory days. It is fitted-out to a high standard with teaching aids, including flip charts, a projection screen, Powerpoint presentations and audio-visual equipment. We also have some anatomical reference items. We hold regular day seminars on many subjects that may be of interest to dog groomers and often have specialist guest speakers. Our grooming room is fitted with the most up-to-date equipment , including a hydrospa, electric tables, full suspension control systems, high velocity blasters, state-of-the-art stand and cabinet dryers, clipper vacuum system and tools and products new to the market.
