About Schott NYC: Founded in 1913 in Manhattan's Lower East Side and now run by the third and fourth generations of the Schott family, Schott NYC produces classic outerwear by hand, out of Union, NJ. Irving Schott, who was the first outerwear designer to use a zipper in a jacket, designed the iconic Perfecto® motorcycle jacket. The first of its kind in 1928, the Perfecto® was a favorite of all American rebels like Marlon Brando, James Dean, The Ramones and Bruce Springsteen. Schott NYC supplied the US military with Naval Peacoats, Parkas and Aviator bomber jackets during World War II.Explore more
