School Network Administrators

Schooltechnician.co.uk hasn't turned out to be the buzzing community site that I had hoped it to be. However I am optimistic that one day people will come along to the site and help with the content creation. One thing that the site statistics has shown me is that search engines are your friend. Many visitors have found using a search engine. This... means tells me that at least the content that I have posted so far is worth looking at, it is not neccessarily the best content in the world, but it can help to point technicians in the right direction to cover the gaps in our knowledge. The site has also been used as a distribution point for MSI packages that I have created for schools. The last package that I created was a universal package to allow installation of the Capita SIMS (Schools Information Management System) software on networks using RM CC3 or vanilla Windows Active Directory systems. This package alone will have saved countless hours of Network Administrators time in deploying SIMS across the network. I now look forward to seeing how many people visit the site during the next year and hope to see an increase in content and contributing members.
