About Schmidt & Klaus
Schmidt and Klaus, Inc. was co-founded in 1966 by Don and Gary Schmidt. The Schmidts worked to build a name for the business and were quickly known and respected for their commitment to quality. The Klaus brothers Barney and John initially had a stake in the company and an agreement to sell their top quality locally grown roses (considered the finest on the market for many years) and blooming plants through the wholesale house. In the late 1980's Gary's son Mike took over the day to day operations and remains president today and co-owner with his father. Over the years we've been quite fortunate to attract many tremendous people to work in the business and help it grow. This certainly includes the very talented and experienced team we have today, some of whom have shared twenty years or more of this journey with us.Explore more
