Saraswathi Narayanan College established in 1966 under the aegis of Narayanan Chettiar Trust is a pioneer co-educational institution affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. This temple of higher learning is wholly devoted to impart quality education for the upliftment of the oppressed and suppressed community of this part of the country. Located... in one of the most backward villages called "Perungudi" in the Madurai district of south Tamil Nadu, the college has made most significant contributions to the development of India. Duty, Devotion and Distinction are the committed motto of our college and with which the dedicated team of teachers discharge their day-to-day academic responsibilities. The basic objective of our college is to reach the unreached. Our college cares for the individual development of each and every student. We follow "mentor system" under which each class is put into the multi-pronged web of a teacher. We accord prime importance to the behavioral discipline, moral integrity and cognitive developments of our students.
