Santi School Project

Santi School Project raised 5,000 (Rs. 400,000) in Austria during the summer of 2006. The fundraising was organized by Rabindra Maharjan, currently the President of our organization in Nepal. Raby has been actively involved with the project since 2006. Mahakali Lower Secondary School's reconstruction work was our second major project and our first... reconstruction project. In August 2006, we visited Mahakali Lower Secondary School located in the village of Maneshwora, around an hour and half walk from the site of our first project. The school's building was in a state of disrepair with leaking roofs and broken balcony wall. Construction work on the school began in November 2006 and completed in April 2006.
