Many faculty are involved in furthering their own education and in receiving training in their respective areas. The central focus of our teachers is teaching and learning. There is also an emphasis to meet the diverse needs of our student population. Our Site Council is well organized and stays up to date with many of our activities at school. Research has proven that a strong parent support program improves achievement and the morale of a school. The Course Description Handbook provides you with information regarding the courses offered and subject content at Santa Rita. Use the handbook as a guide to create a schedule of classes. It is very important that you make wise decisions regarding the content of your schedule. It is our goal at Santa Rita High School that every student pursue a rigorous curriculum. We expect students to graduate with twenty-four credits. During your pursuit of excellence if you fall behind or find that you are not truly prepared for the next level of a course, summer school is a recommended option to support your success.
