Sands de Vos Architects, formally Robert Sands Architects, has been in practice for over 30 years and deals with both contemporary and conservation architecture & interiors covering residential, commercial, government and development projects. Heritage Advisor to City of Port Phillip 1987-2001, 2004 Robert has over 40 years experience in architecture and conservation practice, his experience includes local council, heritage groups including Working Heritage and Heritage Victoria, individual houses of local and state significance, prepared an Urban Character Study, a member of the conservation steering committee for the RAIA and Chair Judging Jury for the RAIA Awards Conservation Category. He is also a practising architect covering the full range of design and procurement services. Jeremy has 25 years experience in architecture and conservation practice and has worked with significant sites of local and state significance. Jeremy is the principal project architect and is responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of the architectural projects. Other responsibilities include the preparation of heritage reports and studies, Heritage Victoria permit applications, alterations and additions to new and existing significant buildings and sites, re-activation of dormant buildings and change of use for commercial enterprise.
