About Sandhill Plastics
Sandhill Plastics is a manufacturing specialist founded on the premise of using post consumer plastics as the raw material in its manufacturing process. This philosophy stems from 2 years of research showing that although recycling is popular with the general public, there were very few end uses for the materials being recycled. This left an opening in the recycling loop. To close that loop the company has designed and built a sheet line extrusion system that produces a high quality sheet and has the capability to change the color, thickness and length. With this system the company were able to process just over 2.4 million lbs. in 2015 alone, & saving over 36 million milk jugs from the landfill. "When the company produce a 1/2 sheet of HDPE plastic the company keep the equivalent of 640 milk jugs from being landfilled."Explore more
