San Francisco Millwork has been an Architectural Millwork contractor in commerical tenant improvements in the Bay Area since 1989. The success of our company has depended on both careful attention to prefabrication communication and quality workmanship. We work toward the goal of completing our work on projects with no punchlist items to correct. W... e have worked on several projects in the last couple of years that we think are particularly outstanding. Marakon Associates won an AIA/SF award for 2000-2001. The project involved extensive millwork complex in design and structure. We performed millwork contracts at 199 Fremont as the building was being built out for its first tenants; seven floors for Swinerton Builders for the Fremont Group (Bechtel's property management company) and seven floors for Turner Construction for AON Insurance Services. Gensler was the architect for both projects. We completed two very different projects in 2000 for Ernst & Young working with two different general contractors. The first job for a consulting office had extensive Millwork on two floors in curly maple. The second office covered five floors of the Silicon Valley headquarters offices in quartered cherry, complex paint grade details, and unusual plastic laminate casework. DMJM of Los Angeles was the architect for both projects. San Francisco Millwork has a history of relationships that reflect our reliability and after market service. We have performed contracts for the California State Auto Association both with Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction and directly for the Association for the last 14 years at offices throughout Northern California. The size of jobs have ranged from one cabinet to six complete remodels of Bay Area offices in the last couple of years with total contract values of over $2,000,000.
