About Salty Squid

The Salty Squid has been in the making over the last 6 years and has gone through some changes and styles. We believe we have achieved an enviable reputation for uncompromising quality, and just when we think we are there, we learn something new, so we continue to evolve and change doing it our way. Toni & Ian are passionate foodies. We love to produce quality, tasty food and we don't compromise an any ingredient to produce a great final product. Everything that we produce is made from scratch, from the sour dough bread and the Ciabatta to the French breakfast pastries, tarts, pies and sausage rolls. We use locally produced organic flour form Kialla; We also get our ham made for us by Villa Cavour & Bacon from Kawungan Quality Meats, made using no sulphates. We also use organic free range eggs from the Fraser Coast. Where possible, we use only the best Australian product, and we buy from quality local providers.
