Salon-Salon was founded by Tim Cheng in 1986. Tim's passion for hair design began in the early 1980's when he was an apprentice under YOSH, a world-reowned hairstylist. His interest in the hair industry led him to travel to Paris, Japan and New York. He underwent extensive training with some of the most famous hairstylists in the industry. Tim has acquired a wide range of skills and techniques that are unique and unrivaled, such as the "3-curve shear" and other texture-oriented methods. Tim believes, one must cut into the hairstyle, rather then blow-drying the style. His work transcends beyond the traditional haircut and reaches another level, where he recreates and enhances the movements and texture of hair.Read More
