Saint Mary School

The school started as La Casita del Turrón, Kindergarten created in 1979 by the Aubert Pacheco family. The school included nursery, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. In 1979, named in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Mary School was founded, from preschool up to sixth grade. The school obtained the approval of the Higher Education Council i... n 1980. In 1997 the academic offering expanded to High School, successfully graduating the first senior generation in 2002. Since the beginning Saint Mary School has been characterized by providing the necessary tools for students to develop their full potential and talents into happy and caring individuals. The schools mission is to promote deep moral values and a strong academic background through a 100 % bilingual education, athletic, cultural, ecological and technological skills. Religion and Values are foundations on which the teaching philosophy of the institution rests and support the upbringing of children and family. The students are prepared for First Communion and Confirmation within their academic program. Saint Mary School has a large number of foreign students; tolerance, respect, and cultural exchange are pillars of the institution and directly support our values program. Considering their individual differences, students are encouraged through various clubs and special subjects, such as theater , ballet , jazz , karate , band, choir , soccer , robotics , math olympiad, chess, cooking, and art among others to discover and develop their talents. In order to obtain better academic and athletic performances within the school facilities, Saint Mary offers computer and science labs ,a theater classroom, an art room , a library , cafeteria, green areas, playgrounds, soccer fields, tennis courts, running track and fitness gym for children.
