Safety Inc. was owned and operated for over 40 years by Max Fonger, who passed away in October 2009. Following in his footsteps, under the guidance of Max's daughter, Bridget Fonger, is General Manager Andreas Fiel who shares Max's passion for keeping Alaska safe and for servicing each Safety, Inc. customer with integrity and enthusiasm. Safety, In... c. was incorporated in October 1975 for the purpose of providing sales and service of the ZEE Medical product line. Since 1978 we have worked closely with the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) community, and have traveled extensively throughout the state of Alaska providing training for numerous volunteer EMS sites. We have participated in the "Annual Outstanding Ambulance Service Award" for either the most herioc effort to save lives, or the best team effort in promoting community involvement, during the calendar year. In 1991 we received the "Friends of EMS" Commendation from the Governor of Alaska for "friendship time and again for donations of money and equipment, as well as political and emotional support to the EMS community during its infancy." We have the exclusive rights for the ZEE Medical distributorship in the State of Alaska. ZEE Medical is recognized in the United States as the leader in workplace safety. We sell and service first aid kits, along with providing walk through safety inspections and necessary equipment recommendations, so as to provide a safe workplace for employees in every type of environment. We also provide classroom instruction in First Aid and CPR. In addition to ZEE Medical services and products, we also provide equipment to the EMS community.Read More
