The story of Safe Harbor is one of astonishing growth, persistent innovation, and a relentless commitment to excellence. Formed through the acquisition of several portfolios, we made our formal debut as Safe Harbor Marinas with 31 locations across 12 states. Built by iconic industry veteran, Jack Brewer, Brewer Yacht Yards joins the Safe Harbor portfolio nearly doubling our size to 63 locations and 30,000 boaters. Initially brought onboard as President, Baxter Underwood is appointed as Safe Harbors Chief Executive Officer, while Guggenheim Partners and Weatherford Partners join our investment team. The Old Port Cove portfolio of premium Palm Beach assets joins Safe Harbor increasing our family to 68 home ports across 17 states. With the addition of two Michigan locations, our family hits a milestone of 70 home ports across the country. The 2nd largest private U.S. company, KREI, joins Safe Harbor as an investment partner. Historic Charleston becomes another home port in our network with the addition of 4 properties including Charleston City Marina renowned for its premier floating fuel and transient dock, dubbed the MegaDock. Renowned for expertise in the construction of custom state-of-the-art sail and power yachts, New England Boatworks joins our family and increases our Membership to over 40,000 nationwide boaters. An iconic yachting destination, Newport Shipyard joins Safe Harbor increasing our family to 85 locations across 19 states.
