Safe, Check was founded in 2001 by businessman Nicholas Fafalios in response to the need for professional, fire safety conscious providers of passive life safety services for healthcare facilities. Prior to that date there was no company in the U.S. that specialized in providing such services to the healthcare industry. Since January 2003, Ava Kana... ras has been Safe Check's owner and CEO and to this day, the company remains a woman owned small business enterprise. Safe, Check has conducted fire and smoke damper inspections at over 700 hospitals and healthcare facilities nationwide. We are the industry leader in this business.
