About SAF & Machine
Southern Aluminum Foundry & Machine Inc is a privately owned family business founded by C.O. Freeman, and located in Clinton, South Carolina. In 1965, C.O. opened SAF & Machine as a part-time operation producing castings in Greenville, South Carolina. Shortly thereafter, as demand for castings increased, C.O. decided to make the foundry a full-time operation. In 1979, as SAF & Machine continued to grow, C.O. relocated the business to Laurens, South Carolina. In 1997, further growth of the business required C.O. to open a second facility four miles down the road in Clinton, South Carolina. The Clinton facility is now the home of SAF & Machine's Corporate Office. Between the Laurens facility and the Clinton facility, SAF & Machine now has over 80,000 square feet of manufacturing area.Explore more
