On 8 April, the magazine Fo... rmación en Seguridad Laboral is organising a new " Encuentros con FSL ", a conference on occupational risk prevention and health and safety at work in the ceramics industry. This conference, which will be held from 10:30 to 13:30, will be attended by 9 speakers from the national ceramics sector and will include the presence of our PRL manager, Verónica Centelles, who will talk about the importance of work procedures and training as one of the key points for the reduction of accidents in the workplace. SACMI Ibérica is the Spanish subsidiary of the SACMI Group, based in Castellón. Founded in 1981 in the heart of the Spanish ceramic cluster, it currently employs 105 people. Its main activity is to provide after-sales service to Spanish customers. It has a spare parts warehouse, with stocks valued at more than 12 million euros, and an extensive Technical Assistance service, both for the assembly of new machinery and for the maintenance and repair of existing ones. There are also commercial departments with technicians to advise customers on new machines, production plants and even updating or improving on existing machines. Since 2000, Sacmi Ibérica has also had a branch office in Oi - Aveiro (Portugal), an area where most of the Portuguese ceramic industry is concentrated.
