SA Mushrooms has grown to become the largest privately owned mushroom farm in South Australia. From small beginnings as a family-run farm, the business is today a primary supplier of mushrooms to major supermarkets, independent greengrocers and produce markets in South Australia, and nation wide. Operating from a state of the art, climate-controlle... d facility on the fertile Adelaide Plains, our fully-integrated business now employs 100 staff and each week produces over 55 tonnes of fresh, healthy Swiss brown, white button and field mushrooms. In recognition of this work, SA Mushrooms was in 2013 awarded Primary Producer of the Year at the South Australian Food Industry Awards. Placing a strong emphasis on the delicately hand-picked & packing process, SA Mushrooms are able to deliver our mushrooms only hours after being picked.
