S&K has remained a family owned business, originally controlled by its principal, Hans-Josef Vogler. Mr. Vogler took control of S&K at a young age and grew the company into a leading food wholesale institution in Germany. Thereafter, Mr. Vogler founded S&K Worldwide Realty, LLC to focus exclusively on real estate investing. In 2018, Mr. Vogler transferred control of S&K to Scott Squires and Michael Katz, long-standing advisers to Mr. Vogler. S&K, on behalf of itself, its principals and clients, has been investing in United States real estate for more than 30 years. S&K has invested more than $2 billion in the State of Florida, including the acquisition, development, ownership, and management of over 2.2 million square feet of medical, industrial, commercial and residential real estate, and 5,000 acres of land. Recognizing a shifting landscape of the real estate industry in Florida after the Great Recession, S&K narrowed its primary focus to loan advisory services with a goal of capital preservation while providing risk-adjusted returns to its clients in excess of the market.
