Russell

The company was created by mining lawyer Victoria Russell, who was Vice President and General Counsel of Goldcorp Inc, one of the largest gold companies in the world. She has been on various boards and is currently the President of the Lawyers Club of Toronto. Previously she was a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the Law School at Queen's... University, Kingston, and she was also a member of the University Council for Queen's University for more than 20 years. She was appointed as a member of the judiciary on a part-time basis from 2000-2009. Ms. Russell has been on the executive of the Natural Resources and Energy Section of the Ontario Bar Association. She is a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum and the American Bar Association. Ms. Russell was the creator and on-air Host of the Commodities Report, a half-hour national TV show on the business channel, BNN. Earlier in her career, she was the Legal Correspondent for CBC's "The National", CBC National TV News and she was responsible for reporting on all legal matters for the network.
