About Running for Rachel
Running For Rachel began in an effort to support Rachel Lynn Guss as she battled duodenal cancer. Since her passing in November 2011, her family and friends continue on a mission to raise awareness and funds for gastrointestinal cancer research. Proceeds from Running for Rachel support surgeons at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) where doctors continue to facilitate clinical research and translate these observations and discoveries into new approaches for diagnosing, treating and preventing disease. To date, more than $360,000 has been raised and donated to NIH in Rachels name.Explore more
