Ruby's Sno-Balls

This is a tough one to write, but here we go. I am sad to announce that Rubys will not be opening for the 2021 season. It was a privilege to have been a part of your life for the last 4 1/2 summers. It brought all of us a lot of joy to serve our neighbors from so many different walks of life. Nothing brings people together like shaved ice. Thank yo... u. I am grateful for the young people who have worked beside me. It was a pleasure to see you grow over these past few years and I hope you all had a positive experience in the beginning of your working lives. Thank you. Im sure that some of you have questions about what happened. Its been a hard year for everyone and we were not an exception. We very unexpectedly lost our space at Haskell and Ross. We then tried to get into a new location but ran into zoning issues with the city that despite a lot of efforting and worry, we could not get resolved. All signs point to taking a step back at this time. As for the future, who can say? Hopefully I will have good Ruby related news to share with yall at some point. For now, I need to pack it up.
