This first means ensuring a safe working environment for our workforce, sub-contractors and the public. We emphasise the importance of the health and safety of the public because we are often required to work within close proximity of people and occupied homes. We are a CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) accredited company.... Every project is individually assessed, with method statements and risk assessments undertaken. All sites are monitored continually throughout the course of a project. Our entire workforce is Asbestos Awareness trained, with a number having also trained for Non-Licensed works. They are also First Aid trained, and are regularly educated by us in order to keep them up to date with Health and Safety regulations. There are designated First Aiders across our workforce. Our site managers hold the Construction Site Managers Certificate, and all supervisors hold the Construction Site Supervisors Certificate. All site operatives have successfully completed their health and safety tests and are holders of CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards.
