RPM Support

The scholarship fund support system is multifaceted to help as many families as possible through providing grants in the following areas: emergency grant funds, student specific funds, volunteer percentage program, and income-based grants. Grants are given on a semester basis and are determined based on situational factors, income verifying documen... ts, and volunteer hour logs. Another area of support is learning opportunities for parents and professionals. These will consist of educational opportunities such as conferences and resource fairs, RPM Support sponsored webinars, and support group activities. Our goal is to further the knowledge of those using RPM and to expose new clients to the possibilities created by RPM for their child. RPM services are defined as but not limited to: The Emergency grant fund will be used for families who are in extreme and/or unpredicted circumstances that require immediate financial support. These families will have the option of applying for the income fund as well. Parents or guardians of students using RPM have the option of opening an account for their student where the money they raise will be allocated for their childs RPM services, as described in the further service description category. These funds can be raised personally or through a number of RPM Support organized fundraisers. One options is the volunteer percentage program which allocates ten percent of total funds raised at a specific fundraiser to the volunteer student's specific account, regardless of families income status. The income-based fund provides grants to families for authorized RPM services (as described in the further description of services) on a sliding scale, placing the highest priority on families who are below the poverty line as defined by the Federal Poverty Level Guidlines.
