Roundup Independence Days Extravaganza

To celebrate our country's independence in authentic Montana fashion - with a community focus that is centered on family and friends gathering together. To increase the economic stability and vitality of the community by growing the size of the event each year. To expand the Musselshell Valley Community Foundation's (MVCF) charitable grant program,... and enable the growth of other non-profits' capacity. Since 2005 R.I.D.E. has been successfully planned and administered by an all-volunteer group that is committed to growing the size of the event and meeting the expense of more recognized entertainers. A percentage of the proceeds of the 2014 event were donated to a volunteer group that is building a community stage in Roundup City Park to enable more arts and culture events. In 2015 50% of the net profits from the event will be donated to MVCF's charitable grant program which increases the vitality of the community and the remainder will be used to expand the following year's event.
