In therapy, we can work together to help you get unstuck and get your life back on track. My name is Bridgett Ross and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY22304). My main role is to shine the flashlight that illuminates the various paths you can take to get unstuck. Believe me, the options are plentiful. When you cant see the possibilities, its nice to have a little help. Nobody knows you better than you know yourself, but sometimes it helps to an objective view and additional insight. Through creating a comfortable and nonjudgmental environment, we can work together to facilitate growth and bring you back on course. My approach to psychotherapy is somewhat eclectic, always evolving, and based on a combination of your needs and the most relevant techniques that will help you achieve your goals. Generally, I maintain a cognitive-behavioral focus and integrate mindfulness-based interventions when appropriate. My clients have described me as personable yet professional. I draw from a wide breadth of knowledge based in psychiatric research, personal experience, and a genuine interest in better understanding people. Im the type of therapist who will wish you a happy birthday even if we havent seen each other in 3 years. When I read articles or see videos that remind me of you, I will probably send them your way. I am honest, dedicated, and passionate about my work. Most importantly, my clients experience improvement: sometimes small and other times vast.
