Once again, Roslyn School Foundation is raising funds to help Roslyn School to qualify for a new school yard beautification grant from the Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sports. This year, a Roslyn parent has offered to match all donations during our Holiday Campaign up to $6,500. This means that the every dollar contributed up to this amount w... ill have double the impact! This is a chance to unlock funds valued at up to $75,000.00 set aside by the Provincial Government and the School Board to encourage outdoor activity and healthier living for students. How do we reach $75,000.00 towards enhancing Roslyn School's outdoor space? Roslyn HandS raised over $11,500 for this new 2015-16 grant application. A Roslyn Family has offered to match donations of upwards of $6,500 and challenged the Roslyn Community to step forward to contribute in order to reach $25,000.00 a school can apply for. The School Board ($25K potential match contribution) and Provincial Government ($25K potential match contribution) are then willing to each match Roslyn's total contribution for a grand total of $75,000.00. It is a terrific way of doubling, then tripling your donation value to support Roslyn School and all the students. We know there are many parents, grandparents, friends and alumni who share our passion for Roslyn School and want this excellent community elementary school to thrive.
