Roseway Manor

Roseway Manor is a non-profit Nursing Home with 66 beds - 18 private/24 semi-private ( 54 beds on Main Floor and 12 beds on the Dementia Unit), plus one respite bed. It provides senior citizens of Shelburne County and other areas with a place they can feel protected, and obtain assistance as required to enable them to continue normal daily living.... Roseway Manor is owned and operated by the Corporation, Roseway Manor Inc. This is a Corporation, which was formed under the Municipal Housing Corporation act by the Towns of Shelburne and Lockeport and the Municipality of the District of Shelburne, October 10th, 1974. These three municipal units are equal partners in this corporation. The operation and management of the home is under the direction of a Board of Directors made up of nine members, with three appointed by each of the municipal units. Roseway Manor was officially opened by the Honorable Harold Huskilson in 1976. It has 17 private rooms and 24 semi-private rooms. Since our opening we have upgraded and expanded the services provided. Our respite bed opened in 1980 and has been in demand ever since. Roseway Manor also provides outreach services such as Meals on Wheels and Roseway Leisure & Support Services.
