Roots to Wings Yoga & Healing is the home of healing style yoga in greater Newburyport, MA, located at 76 NEWBURYPORT TURNPIKE (ROUTE 1) NEWBURY, MA. Our Kripalu inspired studio offers new students 3 Weeks of Yoga for $30. Owners are Beth & Mike Houlihan. RTW blends a variety of yoga styles and teachings accessible to everyone. Our approach to yoga... is a gently demanding healing style of yoga where students become grounded in their physical bodies and progress more deeply inward. We promote physical, energetic and spiritual health through our yoga classes, workshops, sacred music programs and community events to help students make a deep mind, body, spirit transformation. Our Greater Newburyport studio (serving Newburyport, Newbury, West Newbury, Georgetown, Rowley, Amesbury, Salisbury, Ipswich, Boxford, the seacoast and beyond) is a custom built, beautiful two story, 6,000 square foot healing center with two large practice rooms, a meditation room, two healing treatment rooms and 36 parking spaces. Nestled behind a grove of cedar trees, with rockers on the porch and gardens, it is a true sanctuary. DIRECTIONS: The new Roots to Wings studio location is 1.5 miles from downtown Newburyport on the Southbound side of Route 1 in Newbury. If you are coming from the North: head for the Route 1 traffic circle near Dunkin Donuts and continue South on Route 1 over the bridge for the communter train and we are located 300 yards on the right after the traffic light at the foot of the bridge. From 95: Take the Scotland Road exit 56 to Highfield Road to Middle Road to Route 1 and take a right and we are 300 yards down on the right.
