ROOFTEC-LLC is a full service commercial roofing contractor serving the... great state of Texas for 30 years. The company was established by Gene Ashley in 1983. Gene had been running the business full-time up until 2010. Since that time Gene has withdrawn from the responsibility of managing the business day to day and has turned over full-time management responsibilities to Craig Foster. Craig was hired in May of 2010 for this very reason. Craig, having many years of experience in the roofing and construction industry was looking for an opportunity such as this; to come alongside an established company and its owner; to eventually retire the original owner; and to purchase an existing company. Gene continues to make himself available as an Independent Consultant. And Craig, as the new owner, continues to lead the ROOFTEC team forward into new opportunities and growth in the roofing industry. There is a demand in the roofing industry well beyond trade knowledge; there is an expectation in communication technology, information technology, ever-expanding educational requirements, and ever-increasing governmental code/safety regulations. We anticipate the challenges ahead and look forward in developing individuals, processes, and organizational structure to be successful in the current business climate and beyond.
