Roberta Lewis is an industry veteran with over two decades of successful consumer electronics retailing, internet marketing, and manufacturing experience. Most recently, Roberta Lewis was vice president of sales and marketing for Phase Technology/United Speaker Systems, a privately held, 50-year-old domestic speaker and original equipment manufacturer in Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. Lewis joined Phase Technology in August, 2001 and was responsible for domestic and international sales and marketing. Prior to joining Phase Technology, Ms. Lewis served as vice president and chief marketing officer of Knowledglinks, Inc., d.b.a. www.getplugged.com, an Internet-based specialty consumer electronics marketing company. As a collaborative Internet marketing portal, the company provided channel-market solutions for both suppliers and their dealers, offering management, customer referrals, and sales. Ms. Lewis spent the first 19 years of her CE career at Texas-based Home Entertainment, Inc., a 40-year-old, privately held specialty A/V retail chain with seven stores in Houston and Dallas. She served as vice president from 1991-1996 and president from 1997-1999. Home Entertainment, Inc. was consistently ranked a top ten retailer by Audio Video International and highly regarded by the industry as the dominant dealership in both Houston and Dallas. When the Tweeter Home Entertainment Group acquired Home Entertainment in 1999, Lewis and her management team had grown sales from $8 million to $25 million in just eight years.
