ROAR Academy is delighted to announce that in 2019 we will be offering a wider range of classes to include our younger performers, adult performers and to offer exciting performance opportunities intrastate, interstate and overseas. Along with our foundation skills classes in the triple threat skills of dance, voice and drama, we will offer classes... to littlies (ages 5-8yrs) who will learn foundation skills through fun games and we will also open up our classes to those who have left school 18 yrs+ who would like a refresher or continue to develop their skill set. We will also be focused on training our DRAMA Troupes to develop skills and rehearse a varied programme for the SE QLD DRAMA Festivals - June through September. We will offer 4 levels of DRAMA Troupes - Training, Junior, Senior and OPEN. As well, we will develop a BROADWAY Troupe to be performance ready for Community Events and paid Performance Opportunities. DRAMA Troupe will be a year-long commitment as we need students to be training from Term 1 through the Festival Season and into Term 4 for invited performances. We have our eyes set on JTC (Junior Theatre Celebratioin) in Newcastle in October and JTF (Junior Theatre Festival) in Atlanta (USA) in January 2020. For students to participate in these opportunities they will need to be training with the BROADWAY Troupe from Term 2 through to January 2020.
