Dr. Sesto specializes in difficult contact lens fittings and is able to succeed on patients who might have given up on wearing contacts. Our optical department is one of the finest in the area, with thousands of frames to choose from. We also offer an on site optical lab for lens cutting and assembling eyeglasses. E. Michael Balok, M.D. practices general ophthalmology and is one of St. Clair County's top cataract surgeons. He performs surgery in our local community at Port Huron Hospital and St. John River District Hospital located in St. Clair/ East China. Dr. Balok prides himself on seeing patients with many different eye problems including cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. Oculoplastics or eyelid surgery is a specialty in itself. Dianne Schlachter, M.D. can often repair eyelid problems like ptosis(droopy lids) and performs blepharoplasty in our procedure room without the need for hospitalization.
