River's Edge Arts Alliance

The River's Edge Arts Alliance creates and sustains participant and performance opportunities such as: River's Edge School of Music, Arts in the Park Concerts, Community Arts Series, Family Fun Festivals, River's Edge Chorale, River's Edge Players, Summer Drama Workshop, and many Visual Art Exhibits. Thanks to the support of area individuals, organ... izations, businesses, municipalities and foundations that value the arts, which so enrich our lives, many community members participate in these free or inexpensive programs. The River's Edge Arts Alliance believes in integrating the arts into everyday community life, as well as helping arts education thrive. We collaborate with schools, art organizations and artists, all the while bringing diverse people together. The River's Edge Arts Alliance also publishes a monthly e-newsletter and arts calendar. In 1997, River's Edge Arts Alliance was given the prestigious honor of being awarded with The Commonwealth Award, which is the state's highest honor in the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences. It is presented every two years by the Massachusetts Cultural Council to honor individuals and organizations that have made extraordinary contributions to the quality of life, education and economy in Massachusetts through arts and culture.
