RiMO Entertainment, successor to Sonopress RiMO, officially began its activities in 2013 and continues the services provided by its predecessor, acting in the games, technology, music and films market, through the replication of CD/DVD/Blu-ray, packages and graphic products and distribution of these products. The company began in 1987, through the... acquisition of the business part of RCA EletrÃ'nica by the Grupo Bertelsmann, originally from Germany. Two distinct divisions were born through this acquisition, Industrial and Recording. The Industrial division got the name Sonopress, with partners like Arvato GmBH (Grupo Bertelsmann) and a group of Brazilian investors called RiMO Participações. In April of 2013, Arvato GmBH sold its stake in the Sonopress administration to the holding Woituch S.A. As of that moment Sonopress, CD/DVD/BD replication, packaging, graphic products and distribution division, started to be conducted by Brazilian investors. As of that date, Sonopress takes on a new brand, RiMO entertainment, with units in São Paulo and Manaus, employing over 700 collaborators. Present in the Brazilian market for 25 years, RiMO has great experience in the segment and has as clients huge studios, producers and companies in the Games, Technology, Music and Films market. Since July of 2011, RiMO is authorized by Microsoft to manufacture XBOX games.
