Richey & Clapper, Inc. is one of the leading outdoor power equipment dealers in Eastern Massachusetts. Owned by the Devine family of Sudbury, MA since 1983, Richey & Clapper, Inc. has grown to fill a 25,000 square foot building on 13 acres of land. To this day, it is family owned and operated in Sudbury, where the Devines have lived for over 40 yea... rs. We understand the dynamics of small, local businesses and will go the extra mile to get to know our customers and provide the personal touch. Richey & Clapper, Inc. was started in 1967. It was purchased in 1983 by Joe and Kathy Devine. Originally, Richey & Clapper was located in Natick, Massachusetts. As the business grew, it was moved to Wayland, and finally to the current location in Sudbury. Joe and Kathy's son, Mike, joined the team in 1993, followed by their daughter, Rebecca, in 1999. The Devines credit their success to their talented staff and to their customers that have remained loyal throughout the years. The three mascots, Lucy, Tucker and the newest addition Cooper also keep the ship sailing smoothly by making sure the mailman and UPS truck are well stocked with dog bones.
