In 1951, Riccardo's was born under the gaze of the Triboro Bridge (now the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge) in beautiful historic Astoria. It has remained a Queens landmark ever since, delivering the best cuisine, service, decor, and ambiance around. Founded by Richard Corbisiero Sr., the tradition continues today under the ownership and management of Ric... hard's grandson, Anthony Corbisiero. In the midst of a successful business career, Anthony decided in 1992 that his entrepreneurial spirit was calling him back to the business that his grandfather started so long ago. After working under his Uncle Philip for several years, he purchased the business in 1997. Today, Riccardo's continues the family legacy for the next generation of brides, grooms, and party,goers of all stripes. Since purchasing the business, Anthony has completely renovated Riccardo's into a state,of,the,art, six,room, full service banquet facility catering to weddings, political functions, organizational and institutional businesses, christenings, communions, anniversaries, engagement parties and any celebratory event that requires a beautiful setting matched with excellent cuisine and superior service.
