About RF & Noise Components

It was started up by former DML Microwave employees to support it's products and customer base after it closure. Unfortunately DML Microwave suffered greatly with the downturn of the telecoms market between 2001 and 2003. They had put all their eggs in the telecoms market, expanding at a rapid rate as many technology companies did at the time but at the cost of other market sectors, including broadcast and defence. During the late part of 2001 and over 2002 there were several bouts of redundancies in an effort to reduce the overheads to cope with the huge drop in orders. This turned out to be to little to late and at the beginning of 2003 it was announced that the company would be closing. The DML management managed to sell some of the key product lines to its competitors but that left many of the small to medium sized customers with no support for the bespoke products that DML had provided. This was a great opportunity for a smaller business model and RF & Noise components was born. WRead more
