RetroDuck was originally conceived as a website housing thousands of iron-on transfers we acquired in 2003 from warehouses on the East Coast. Since then, we have expanded to original designs created by ourselves with lots of input from close friends. We wanted to make shirts that we would wear - and hoped that the public would enjoy wearing them as... well. As time went on, we kept our doors open at our office in East Lansing, MI (on the edge of campus at Michigan State University) and people began asking us if we could make shirts for them. We are now a full-scale custom apparel operation as well. On Thanksgiving in 2006, we launched OwnShirts.com, a resource for customers to design their own custom gear that has taken our services international. Since our original acquisition of vintage iron-ons, we have amassed a collection of over 400,000 transfers. We have good reason to believe that this is the largest collection in existence.
