Retina Associates is a group of Retinal Specialists who have been in practicing in Winchester, Virginia for close to 30 years. Drs. Carter, Steuer, Ruggiero, and McFarland have over 60 years of experience treating medical and surgical disease of the retina and vitreous. We are a prominent member of the regional eye care and medical community, and s... ervice the greater Winchester area, eastern West Virginia, and central and western Maryland. Our practice is located in Medical Office Building 2 of the Winchester Medical Center. Here we provide our in office evaluations and treatment, perform consultations with the emergency department, inpatient services, and neonatal unit, and perform outpatient surgery. Our doctors are experts in the treatment of retinal disease, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, vein occlusions, macular surgery, and surgery for retinal detachment. All of our doctors are board certified and members of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, as well as the American Society of Retina Specialists.
