About Restore Brazil

Jay and Luciane Bauman moved to Rio de Janeiro in 2009 with one dream in mind. To see the restoration of this beautiful country through the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. The dream is based on Isaiah 61:4: "They will rebuild the ancient ruins, and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations." Check out the video on the right to learn more about our vision. Jay Bauman is the founder and director of Restore Brazil. Jay is involved in advancing the gospel to Brazil and beyond. Jay has an Masters in Business from Baylor University and has studied at Reformed Theological Seminary. Jay resides in Orlando, FL with his wife Luciane and daughters Sophia, Olivia and his son Joshua. Jay is the Pastor of the Brazilian Ministry at First Baptist Orlando and continues to oversee Restore Brazil as well as our work in Mozambique.
