Responsive Mailing

RMS was established in 2002 (originally under another name) in response to an Insurance Services Provider's need to get their mail out quicker than 5 days. RMS searched through the GTA (as did the customer) to try and find a company that could AFFORDABLY produce mail within 48 hours of receipt of files. Neither was able to find a source so the cust... omer fronted RMS's Principle, Terry Waide, the seed money to establish such a company. Since it's inception, of providing the services that customers needed at prices that made sense, the company has experienced consistent sales growth as high as 100%+ from one year to the next. Originally run out of the Principle's house the business moved in it's 2nd year to 1700 sq ft. Commercial location and in it's 5th year it relocated to it's current 6,500 sq ft facility. RMS DOES NOT consider it's self to be a conventional Mail Service Provider. RMS, as the name suggests, is Responsive to the Customer and their needs. In 2008, RMS introduced full digital print services to augment it's offering of full printing press printing. RMS will consolidate and grow it's existing product offerings over the next 24-36 months. Special emphasis will placed on the bread and butter part of the mailing business, addressed and unadressed admail. Specifically, we will focus on larger projects that provide a stable utilization for the breadth of equipment and expertise at RMS. We will continue to grow the digital and traditional print areas adding new technologies and expertise as required. In short, we will grow the business in the direction our customers need us to, after all, we are RESPONSIVE Mailing! I have covered some of this already but RMS, initially, did not hire any industry people in an effort to break out of the Production Minded mold that the industry had. In order to be Responsive RMS had to bring a Marketing Minded approach to the mailing industry. We did not want to regurgitate " the way it has always been done ".
