The Ranch runs livestock ranging from buffalo, fainting goats, Australian Cattle Dogs and working Quarter Horses. Located on 10 acres of rolling hills just northeast of La Center, Washington, the name Remuda was selected from a word of Spanish origin meaning a group of working horses bred specifically for ranch work and to pen cattle. The Remuda Ranch has been able to incorporate and carefully select a band of broodmares and stallions from such lines as: Freckles Playboy, Dual Pep, Sugar Bars, Aristocratic Merada and Autumn Boon. ~The Remuda Ranch produces the finest in AQHA/APHA reining, cutting and working cow horses. ~ The ranch has seasoned cutting, reining and roping horses along with yearlings, 2 year olds, and 3 year olds for sale at all times.
