Reklaim is committed to the vision of cleanly and profitably recycling a significant portion of the current scrap tire problem. We recognize that the ever-growing supply of scrap tires presents serious environmental and public health challenges; the US alone generates approximately 300 million scrap tires every year. Each Reklaim facility would div... ert approximately 2 million tires from the waste stream each year. Reklaim's first facility is located at the Port of Morrow in Boardman, Oregon. The plant is fully permitted and became operational in 2008, and also serves as our primary technology research and development center. We are completing process and products testing now, and plan to start-up continuous operations in 2014.
