Refuge Church

The Bible is a BIG DEAL here. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Reading and speaking the scripture to one another is at the heart of our gathering. On Sunday we hear the word preached and in our mi... dweek groups we open our Bibles and ask each other what God is telling us. The Refuge Church is a church made up of community groups. Community Group are places to connect, learn to love, serve, and speak the Word of God to each other. Joining a Community Group is one of the most significant things you can do to be known by others. It is in intentional community that we discover our own uniqueness and learn to speak about Jesus. If you want to experience The Refuge Church, we invite you to dive in and be a part of Community Group! They are scattered around Kitsap. There's one close to you! Contact Daniel Frederick to get plugged in. The Refuge Church is simple. We all desire the same thing: to really live. We don't want to waste our lives chasing empty dreams. We want to be happy. You might think that sounds crazy or very un-Christian-like. It's not. We were made for Joy. Jesus' very first sermon started this way, "The happiest person..." Jesus is the only way to life.Read More
